MyGiHealth Researchers Receive Prestigious American College of Gastroenterology Award for “Prevalence and Predictors of Bowel Incontinence: Results from a U.S. Population-Based Study”
Congratulations to all our researchers!
A new study from the MyGiHealth team entitled “Prevalence and Predictors of Bowel Incontinence: Results from a U.S. Population-Based Study” was selected as the recipient of the 2016 American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) Category Award in Functional Bowel Disease. The findings are based on data from the National GI Survey, a population-based audit of GI symptoms in America that was powered by MyGiHealth. The research team included Drs. Stacy Menees and William D. Chey from the University of Michigan and Drs. Christopher V. Almario and Brennan M.R. Spiegel from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. They will present their research findings at the ACG Annual Meeting at Las Vegas, NV, on October 17, 2016.
